Fab sales report

Summary

Hi,
Since Fab.com launched, not even a single product of mine has been sold, so it is actually not selling or its selling as always, but its report will come at the end of the month when fab sales report shows up ?

Thank you

This is worrying. I’ve read elsewhere on this forum that sales have been poor on the new site.

I haven’t sold anything since 20.10, and it was at least one sale each day before Fab.

As a buyer, I think there’s something very wrong with the search, but there’s also something wrong with the order things are appearing on the site.

It used to be possible to keep a finger on the pulse of new marketplace items with a simple search. But now, things appear only ‘roughly in order’ of publishing date.

I assume, as Epic have merged markets, that it would be quite difficult to keep track of the new assets. But there hardly seems to be anything, which can’t be right…?

Yes, I believe the search results are still problematic because many unrelated products appear before those that actually match the search term. They made some recent improvements, but it’s still not fully resolved. Many sellers report having no sales since Fab launched, and I wonder if the same amount of money is circulating on the Fab marketplace as it did on the UE Marketplace before. It could be that buyers are now spending differently, or they may be cautious and holding off on purchases until Fab becomes more trustworthy.

You can search by vendor now, which is an improvement…

I only wish my bills would wait until Fab becomes trustworthy…

Sure but I hate to see that there is no vendor name under the products that appear in search results. You can’t immediately see who made the product until you open it.

You can mouse over the upper left icon.

In my opinion, it’s disappointing. They could have at least kept the avatars visible in the upper corner at all times for quick identification.

Exactly same with me, either true report is not coming yet, otherwise it don;t make any sense why its stop like this suddenly

Yes, the point the buyer is waiting for the fab to complete, as many thing is in progress, because of this they maybe holding back, that can also possible. In my opinion, they should have open fab and not have close unreal marketplace for two more months, in that way their live testing had go one with not so burden upon them and us also.

Where is the report of sales on FAB?

I started on FAB with Unity Assets and had not Unreal Marketplace Publisher account before.

should be this link: Publisher Portal

And let me tell you one more thing that could easily happen as it happened to a very popular Envato marketplace. Sellers get scared because there is no sales so they drop the prices drastically (Already Fab seems bombarded with 5$ music packs that have 15-20 tracks in them!), other sellers see this and panic, they want to stay relevant so they also drop their prices, and there is no going back from there, a chain reaction that destroys the marketplace (for us sellers of course).

I think those are all ai generated, aren’t they? (which is another problem on Fab, but it was already on UEM as well for 2D, and recently for music too - but Epic is just OK with that stuff being there)

how are you tracking your sales for this?

They say old portal of unreal is showing the sales, but i can’t able to find any sales of mine of fab their

I’m tracking sales on an the old portal

I am not sure, I haven’t seen AI music anywhere (or maybe I was just afraid to look it up). I still don’t believe music can be generated by AI from scratch but it’s inevitable. The guy that sells for 5$ has a YT channel, webpage… Seems to be in business for some time, so I don’t get it, why disrespecting your own work. I get it if it’s a part of some temporary strategy to pay bills, but if it’s a long term plan it sucks.
