I don’t have much to add but just wanted to express that I very much share this sentiment, unfortunately. Text comments and reviews only work if there is a strong human moderation system in place to support them (to remove inaccurate reviews and toxic comments), and this was removed long ago, even before the switch to FAB (learned this first-hand last year myself). So in a way it makes sense to go for no text at all from there - but a big component of the motivation to create useful assets for buyers is definitely gone because of it.
Thankfully some buyers still take the time to communicate by email, but the nice balance that was reached around 2022-ish is lost. I suppose that the marketplace accepting AI-generated content is partly responsible for it too.
