Website - Improvements
- Fab now prevents the modification of existing supported engine versions on listings for live plugins. This change ensures that existing builds will not break for buyers. This change does not prevent publishers from adding new supported engine versions to their listings.
- Made updates so that Trader and Non-Trader information is only visible to users within the European Union.
- Various improvements to search, detailed here.
Website - Bug Fixes
- Fixed some minor translation errors in Japanese strings.
- Fixed an issue where listing pages for items acquired under the UEFN - Reference Only license would display the “Download” button. Download is not possible for these assets, so instead the listing now directs users to Unreal Editor for Fortnite to access and use the assets.
Website - Publishing Portal [only affecting Publishers]
- Added Unity 2023.x and Unity 6 to the list of available version choices.
3D Viewer and Editor - Improvements and Fixes
- Fixed an issue where saving a scene in the 3D editor did not work after adding new textures to the scene.
UE Plugin - Improvements
- Fixed an issue that was causing Fab EULA to appear at download in UE 5.5.2
- Made the following updates for Megascans:
- Enabled Nanite for all Megascans 3D assets to support Nanite displacement out of the box
- Updated billboard LOD screen size for Megascan plants
- Fix for broken Global Foliage Actor on importing a plant
- Renamed “Opaque” shader to “Fabric”
UEFN Integration - Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where the version compatibility pop-up would appear in UEFN; this pop-up is irrelevant for UEFN as there is only ever one version deployed at a time.
