Summary
Whenever I sync my large project (approx. 3GB) from URC, the editor sometimes enters a “Reloading / Fixing-Up References” screen that can last up to 1 hour before I can continue working. This has been happening consistently for the past few weeks, and it severely impacts iteration speed.

Steps to Reproduce
Open a large UEFN project (~3GB).
Sync changes from URC.
Observe the loading screen:

“Fixing-Up References” takes extremely long (up to 1 hour).
Happens frequently, even if very few assets were changed.
Expected Result

Observed Result
Project enters a lengthy reload/fixing-up process (up to 1 hour), even on minor syncs.
Platform(s)
PC (UEFN)
Additional Notes
Issue started a few weeks ago, did not happen before on the same project.
Hardware:
CPU: High-end (running at 4.7 GHz, plenty of headroom).
Memory: 64 GB installed, 45 GB used during sync (so UEFN is eating a lot of RAM).
Disk 0 (C:): NVMe SSD, so disk speed isn’t the bottleneck.
GPU 1: NVIDIA RTX 4080 SUPER (plenty of power).
Project size ~3GB, heavy use of UI Widgets and Verse.
