Exposure; Slowly going insane

I think Im slowly going crazy and in circles with exposure settings…is there a clear a concise way to adjust this? I have an exterior scene with a jungle and beach. Ive been slowly going mad adjusting this so I have a nice bright day without bleaching out the sand or the foliage and making it look like a cartoon… Im after realistic as possible…any help please =) pretty please =D

If you’re using UE5, try adjusting the Local Exposure settings in your post process volume (mainly reducing the contrast scale)

Yeah I have that setup, I dont know what Im doing anymore…Im all over… where do I start? how do I know my lighting is correct? AHHHHHH!!! lol… whats exposure compensation? when do I use that, or adjust that, or use it at all?
