Exports not matching live render view

Hi, I am using Twinmotion 2024.1 with Archicad 26 Solo, on an Apple M2 Max with 32GB RAM running Sonoma 14.5.

The issue I have is that Twinmotion exports don’t match the live render view. I have tried jpg, png and EXR. I am using clay render with glass turned off and transparency and reflection set to zero. I am using realtime render and Lumen GI. I have tried all the sliders and they have marginal effect, and don’t come close to solving the issue.

In terms of how the export doesn’t match the live view, it’s to do with the way light is rendered. The live view is relatively accurate, with shadows where you would expect, surfaces facing away from windows darker etc. In the export this is not the case, some surfaces facing away from a window are lighter than surfaces like a window cill. In an external view, some internal surfaces are lighter than surfaces outside the building.

Any pointers would be much appreciated, thank you.

HI,

I’m glad somebody noticed this as well. I would like to reinforce this question to the TM developers.
I do a lot of exterior renderings, and I have the same exact issue. interior floors all of a sudden lighten up behind curtain walls. first I suppected issues with the glass material setup or 2sided problem, but it actually happens at curtain position of the sun or hdri image. as a workaround I had to make all my interior floors texture super dark. but it looks perfectly fine in live view. only happens with the exported images.
interestingly enough once I remove the glazing like it’s not there, everything looks fine with the interior. but the brighter export result still the same problem
I tried different setups as above, including adjusting the low to high refinement, suspected on reflection. something just not adding up during export.
