Hey all, I am trying to export my Matinee sequence at 1920x1080, the .avi file is created for my 3 minute trailer at around 32Gb but when I play the video its completely distorted and looks like it went through a paper shredder.
Anyone else have this issue and know how to resolve?
I think typical video players have trouble with a file size that big. I took mine into After Effects, compressed it down and it seemed to do the trick. I’m no expert though, so take it with a grain of salt.
I almost always run it through Adobe Media Encoder to get it to a manageable size for playback on my machine. I agree that the size of the file is probably the culprit, but I have yet to do anything longer than like 15 seconds clips.
Save it to images and then export to your video format.
