I’m trying to create a scene where someone is in a massive facility. The player walks on a bridge and both the ceiling and ground need to be out of view, faded out over a gradient like what you can do with Exponential Height Fog.
It’d be great if I could have 2 of them and just flip one upside down, but obviously that won’t work. Something similar on the Answer Hub: How to fade to black over distance? - World Creation - Unreal Engine Forums
This is the closest I could find to a solution, but it won’t work for me because I need to be able to see on the X and Y planes and only limit above and below.
Even more preferable would be to control the axes independently of each other. For example the Full Background Color Distance (a variable inside the post process material from the link) would be split into three variables to control fade distance in each direction.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
