I don’t believe this is possible, and the devs would have little reason to add this feature, because the process you’ve found (using the Custom Depth Pass) essentially achieves the same effect.
That being said, what effect are you trying to recreate? Postprocess materials have a lot of functionality, and you can probably recreate your desired postprocess effect within a postprocess material.
Thanks for the reply! The effect I’m trying to achieve includes enabling a lot of effects from the post process settings, and whilst possible to recreate in a post process material, would be complicated and likely take a lot of time, hence the question.
