Hi @Hexagon37 and All
The update to 36.20 from 36.10 failed Tried verify no success.
Uninstalled FN36.10 and installed 36.20 after
Chkdsk /f /r c:
UEFN will not install correctly from Launcher on any Windows 11 (eleven) version needs to run Elevated "Run As Administrator - General / Issues and Bug Reporting - Epic Developer Community Forums

Are you saying that you had the exception_access_violation crash when opening UEFN and reinstalling not only the editor but fortnite as a whole fixed it?

hi @Hexagon37
Uninstalled Fortnite, UEFN and EPGL as they were not updating.

UE 5.6 is famous for needing to be reinstalled, and after crashing

Delete all files in

Delete the C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\EpicGamesLauncher

Delete the C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\UnrealEditorFortnite

Delete C:\Users\jimgi\AppData\Local\FortniteGame

MAKE SURE YOUR BACKUP YOUR PROJECTS FIRST
Use Windows File Explorer, NOT Windows Command Shell, as many people trash their machine otherwise

Then reinstall everything
