Everything is blurred in new projects on reinstalled UE 5.4

Hi! Whenever I play in editor i got everything except UI crazily blurred. It’s all the same in standalone and new viewport. I thought that it might be related to project settings so I’ve created a new project and it same (In all my old projects on this version it’s also happens). I’ve reinstalled unreal engine and it’s still same in all projects (I’ve created a new one just in case). It’s only happens with UE5.4 for me, 5.3 works perfectly fine. Changing anti-aliasing method changes how blur looks but still don’t get me any closer to see anything. All other rendering project setting seems to not give any result. Scalability settings all cinematic (Changing don’t give any result). Changing preview platform also give no result. I’ve updater and reinstalled all visual drivers on computer as well. I have no clue what should I try next. I don’t want to move to 5.5 cause a lot of plugins still not compatible. And downgrading is a huge hustle. Any help will be appreciated, thx.

Hey there @koliadada! Welcome to the community! This is quite the issue, as usually when you see entire viewport wide anomalies like this, it’s often an environmental issue (like GPU settings), though it would usually effect the editor viewport as well in that case. Let’s start by getting a baseline and a couple tests.

May I know your specs?

Since you mentioned the look changed between AA modes, does the blur change when changing your project’s RHI to DX11 or Vulkan?

Hey, thanks for reply! Changing to dx11 and Vulkan didn’t give any results. Here are the specs. Editor by it self is absolutely fine, it’s only happens when I try to run game inside the project.

I’ve also tried to change different settings in Nvidia control panel, and checked that editor use Nvidia instead of Intel, but no results from this as well…

Well on dx11 this helps. And trying to change resolution or window mode in game brakes it again. I have no clue why completely new projects have this problem. And resetting user settings on dx12 still give no results, but for now i will say this some sort of solution. Also done this in meanwhile, not sure if it affected anything. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vejhv9QmNGM&t=262s

This is a specific part that wasn’t working on ue 5.4 on dx 12. And I don’t know why user settings affected new empty projects.
