Every button on right side of the Controller stops working randomly when you enter an island

Summary

Players playing on controller have reported that in random times when they enter my island their whole right side of controller becomes “bricked”. Meaning the right stick, options button or other buttons doesn’t register any input. Leaving the only option to close the game, as they can’t even access the menu
