Error: render sub-level is set to blueprint streaming and will not be visible during a render unless a sequencer visibility track controls its visibility...

Hello all,

I have an error I have been trying to fix for a couple days.

The error is:
Sub-level ‘/Game/cigarroomemptylevel’ is set to blueprint streaming and will not be visible during a render unless a sequencer visibility track controls its visibility or you have written code to handle loading it.

This error happened when I was rendering a still image.
I used the movie render queue plugin and enabled path tracer.
I am using UE 5.2.1 and I had downloaded the cigar room environment
on windows 10 laptop with a 3070.
At some point before I was able to render.

I think this error maybe started after I created sublevel. I was trying to make meshes un-selectable.

I have tried changing my default streaming level to always loaded and I have tried the adding level visibility tracks in the sequencer. I even tried deleting my config files and loading fresh ones. I have tried migrating my level to another project as well. I also tried rendering not using path tracer or the movie queue plugin.

Rendering does work when i start a fresh project.

Any thoughts?
Thanks

Did you set the cigarroomemptylevel sublevel to Always Loaded? You mentioned you did it for the default streaming level, but you should do it for cigarroomemptylevel if that’s the sublevel you’re controlling visibility for.

Hi Max.Chen,

I set the Persistent level to always loaded which changed the cigaremptylevel
to always loaded. I am new to UE so I don’t know if it’s worth mentioning but
the cigar empty level is a subfolder in the persistent level and not its own layer.

Thanks

You need to set all the levels you want to be visible in render to always loaded or set them visible in the sequencer specifically.
