In the meantime, while the Launcher is not cooperating, you my wish to consider using the source code version of the editor which is downloaded via GitHub. It is a more involved setup process, but it can probably get you started. More information is available here: - YouTube

Same here… before I was getting the version error, now I get the 2nd error as well asking if I’m connected to the internet. Well… I’m fairly certain I am. Unless this post made its way online through sheer force of will.
Try the various solutions, and if none of them resolve the issue for you, please follow the steps listed there to provide your logs, and attach them here.
I tried the solution and nothing was working but I managed to use it in offline mode. Fired it up again later the next evening and all was fine, the launcher seems to have updated now.
Same as ECXevian: HTTP/1.1 503 Service Unavailable: Back-end server is at capacity
None of the suggestions work, even DNS change…

The issue seems to be resolved. I am assuming it was a server problem? If it was, then @Unreal dev team. Could we please have some better error messages for when the servers are down?
