Error IS-0009 on my own Plugin to download..

Again, 2 Weeks gone.. Still no solution..

I have the same issue. Any solution?

An update from a staff member would be much appreciated

I have been dealing with this issue since early December last year. So far, I have had two tickets with FAB support over this. Both times I was told they were investigating the issue but then I received no further updates.

I have tried clearing the caches, deleting temp files, reinstalling engines and the launcher but nothing seems to help. I can install other plugins just fine but both my published plugins fail to install.

I have received a negative review on my plugin and the customer claims that they cannot install the plugin on 5.6 and 5.7. The issue is that I locally tested the plugin prior to shipping and it works with both of those engine versions. Now, I cannot tell if the issue is with my code or it’s something else that is preventing the customer from installing the plugin since I cannot download the plugin from FAB and install it on my own due to the IS-0009 bug affecting me.

This whole situation has been really disheartening.

@Urooj.shahzadi Any Update?

I’m having the same problem when attempting to install my own plugins. I’ve only tried on 5.6 so far.

I am honestly happy that this is getting a bigger issue. I have already been waiting for 6 months, and nothing has happened so far. The more people complain the higher the probability it gets fixed

86 Days since this Topic started!!!

Issue still exists..
I currently question if the support is doing ANYTHING at all.. or completely ignore the topic?

Would someone from support who’s actually working please finally respond to all of this and provide a solution?!

Even my email to support hasn’t been answered in over a month!

Same problem for months…
yet another system breaking problem in the FABulously terrible engine.
@Tim_Sweeney Fix your own store and engine first before throwing shame at others, lead by example.

The listings_v1.db file in the EpicGamesLauncher\VaultCache\FabLibrary path seems to have 0 rows for the listings, must be a complete server side issue.

I need to use Pico OpenXR with Unreal Engine 5.7 - but the Plugin can still not be installed - resulting in the same IS-0009 error no matter how many times I delete and re-install Unreal Engine 5.7.

None of the suggested fixed helped :frowning:

Adendum: The advice from rwk326 to delete EPIC Launcher files did not help - but it made the Unreal Engine environment forget all the installed Engine versions - I had to delete them in Windows explorer and re-install them.

What DID help was to log out of my EPIC Games library account, create a new account and then with that new account download and install Pico OpenXR into all the projects …
I would think, that this solution works also for all other download problems with the IS-0009 error message.

My conclusion is that the issue is NOT with the FAB or Unreal Engine 5.7 - but with the way the EPIC Launcher is handling user related library data!

Hey everyone

The dev and product teams are still actively investigating this issue. Once we have more information I will absolutely update this thread.

Thanks!
