Error connecting to URC

Summary

I’m having trouble connecting to URC. At first, I was able to open my project normally, but I couldn’t sync or check in to the project; I kept getting this error message:

So, after trying for a long time to find any errors in the files, I decided to delete the project folder from my computer and try syncing again, but now I’m stuck on the loading screen, and the loading process freezes right when I try to connect to URC.

There are no step-by-step instructions.

I just encountered this bug after today’s update. Everything is related to URC.

Expected Result

Be able to open the project and sync and check in as usual.

Observed Result

The project fails whenever it interacts with URC, whether to connect, check in, or sync.

FORT-1077952 has been ‘Backlogged’. This is an issue we’d like to address in the future.

Actually, I found a solution to this.

I had to log into my Epic account on another computer that already had the project synced. I made changes to random files and checked them in. Only then was I able to open the project on my main computer, and I was stuck on a loading screen for three hours before I could finally open the project.
