For Fortnite players I found a fix. Go to the store and “buy” Festival or Save the World, (only do one at a time) Then, delete Fortnite. [if it’s acting up then it won’t let you, open the directory and manually delete Fortnite.] After deleting Fortnite the next step is to download the game you selected (festival or Save the World). This will fix it UNTIL you restart your computer. After you restart your computer you’ll have to take the steps all over again until you run out of versions of Fortnite. Best of luck.

- “Buy” a Fortnite mode such as Festival or Save the World
- Delete Fortnite, manually if EGS won’t let you
- Install the Fortnite mode (Festival or Save the World, w/e)
- DO NOT RESTART OR YOU HAVE TO REPEAT WITH A DIFFERENT MODE (such as festival, reload, or Save the World)
