Error Code IS-EO-Lnc-BldInfo:Http-403

Hello guys, i managed to fix it doing this:

  1. Close Epic launcher and kill the process in task manager

  2. Open local appdata folder “C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local” and delete “Epic Games”, “EpicGamesLauncher” and “FabPlugins” folders

  3. Open “C:\ProgramData\Epic\EpicGamesLauncher” and delete “VaultCache” folder

  4. Open “C:\Program Files\Epic Games\Launcher\Portal\Binaries\Win64” and set “EpicGamesLauncher.exe” to run as administrator

  5. Restart your PC (very important!)

  6. Open Epic launcher and log-in, don’t change the default VaultCache otherwise you’ll need to repeat all of these steps.

Sadly for me this does not work.

Nothing at all has worked for me lol. I feel doomed.

This worked a treat, thank you, you’re amazing

Found another potential solution after getting desperate when all other posted solutions didn’t work.

I had two plugins with this issue while other plugins worked just fine.

I simply spammed the install button for those plugins, switching between the two and trying different versions available for all the UE versions I have installed.
After around 8 failed attempts, it just randomly worked. Now I can install any version of the plugins without any issues.

Maybe just spamming the install button itself already works and it might not be necessary to do this whole switching versions and plugins thing.

Though I don’t think it made a difference, I should add that I did all of this with an emptied VaultCache, running as Administrator, and after having applied all the solutions listed above.

That works in one go, Thanks Matheus

Facing same issue. Can’t install plugins. None of the above mentioned working for me.

Somebody please help

The problem is still here, and your fix still works. Thank you

Yep the problem still there but no solution works for me, i’m dying

EDIT: man guess what, i’m just keep trying again and again, about 45 times and it installed. have no idea of this trash launcher.

For me anything doesn’t work.

Solution is Keep everything and open launcher go to UE section → Library → Scroll down to fab library wait for syncing is done and you can install your stuff without any errors

Wildly enough, just spamming the install button after each failed attempt worked for me. I did delete my vault cache, but I was not running as admin.

Doing everything mentioned above like emptying folders + killing on task manager + running as administator + installing from the Unreal Engine section / Library instead of FAB worked for me

Yeah, this is still happening. Certain plugins can’t be updated. Stalls development.

You’re right. This is the fundamental reason. I’ve tried all the methods, but they didn’t work. Because I have a lot of assets, I need to wait for a few minutes before the refresh is complete, and then I can use the plugin to download. It has been bothering me for a whole day.

Fack Epic Games Launcher!!!
