Hey!
I’m also following this tutorial and had the same issue.
Basically you need to go back to your material editor graph and select your Custom_volumetric_Cloud node.
In the detail panel scroll down until you see usage section and then you should find “Used with Volumetric Cloud”
Enable it then recreate your material instance in order to reapply it and it should work
