Summary
For certain players, Epic-provided item icons fail to load at all. Everywhere an affected item’s icon is displayed — the player’s inventory as well as custom UI that displays the item’s icon — the icon is either blank or renders as an image of a pump shotgun. The pump shotgun is not an item on our island, so it appears to be an engine fallback/placeholder icon. Notably, our custom-made icon textures continue to render fine for the affected player — it is only the Epic item icons that fail to load.

Other
Steps to Reproduce
- Grant items to players on an island that displays item icons both in the inventory and in custom UI.
- For most players, all icons display correctly.
- Rarely, for a specific player, every place an Epic item icon is shown loads either blank or as a pump shotgun image — while custom-imported icon textures on the same island still render fine.
- We have not found a reliable reproduction — it appears random per player, but it recurs for the same player.
Expected Result
Item icons should always load and display correctly for every player, everywhere they are shown.
Observed Result
For the affected player, every Epic item icon displays blank or as a pump shotgun placeholder — in the inventory and in custom UI — while custom-imported icons render normally. The rest of the lobby is unaffected.

Additional Notes
Only a single player report so far, but that player has encountered the bug more than once. The affected player is on PC.
The pump shotgun image that appears occasionally looks like an engine default/fallback icon being substituted when the real icon fails to load.
Custom-made icon textures imported into the project are unaffected — only Epic-provided item icons fail — which suggests the Epic icon assets are failing to load/stream on that client.
Additional info from the affected player: the most recent occurrence was two days ago, and it happened around 5-6 times over the course of that day.
