Please take a look at the troubleshooting steps in the link below. If nothing works for you, make sure to follow the instructions towards the bottom of the page and post your ‘Verbose logs’. You shouldn’t need to use dropbox for them, just upload them normally or zip then upload.
Launcher is running fine in windows 7 but getting sometimes ‘no information of version received’ while logging in or no window after login at all. I have already tried all the fixes mentioned on your troubleshoot site but no use.
I tried the old unreal engine installer which was in the source code from github on windows 8.1, that installer worked fine and i was able to login, but when i updated the installer to new Epic Games Launcher i started getting the same issue.
Yesterday after replying to this question, i got an notification to update launcher, after that i didnt even need the fix i mentioned in the answer.Since its not connecting to server, you can try uninstalling and download the new version, hope it should fix the issue.
Okay, the window is not shown, but I see that something is on background (cursor show as IBeam, as Hand etc.) so the window is not visible but it’s there.
I had same issues as above, i tried all the above with same result, I solved it by removing new launcher with old, turned off firewall+virus protection then re-installed, this solved all issues for me, hope this helps.
Hi ,
We need verbose logs and since you’re unable to get into the launcher we need to get these the old school way.
