Platform(s)

Windows 11

Additional Notes

There was a Windows 11 update around that same time. This glitch might be Windows related.

hi @Dormikon , has been doing this known problem for ages

Uninstall Epic Launcher via Windows Uninstall

delete directory C:\Users\jimgi\AppData\Local\EpicGamesLauncher

restart pc

download a new version of Epic Launcher from Epic website

Run as administrator to install new version

Then this will work until the next update!

I would just logout and login again. and if hopefully cancel the programs in the task manager.

Thanks @Jimbohalo10 , I’ll do that the next time it happens. Since the last update 2 days ago it works again as usual.

Well, rebooting helps, it’s just a bit annoying. For now it’s working again.
