While in the UE5 editor, when i mouse over the tool bar menus my entire display is refreshing (going black then coming back on).

In the Nvidia control panel, under 3D, reset to defaults.

It does look weird, not really sure what it is.
Have you tried resetting the editor layout ( edit menu I think ).
This actually happens in both UE4 editor and UE5.
Very unusual that i would be the only one having this issue…
It really looks like a GPU driver problem. Have you tried using the ‘studio’ version of the driver, rather than the game ready one?
Does it happen in any other applications?
It doesn’t happen in any other applications. Just UE4 and UE5. It’s happened for maybe a year now, with many Nvidia driver updates throughout that time.
I’ve noticed it only happens when the editor is in full screen (maximized).

@Coldscooter I was having the issue of the entire screen going black, and when i moused over the spot the menus were supposed to be at I got the little white tooltip boxes showing up. I solved this by both installing Studio Version of the Nvidia drivers(current version) and in the Nvidia control panel i selected restore in the box that has all the settings you can change on the manage 3d settings tab. I tried it in that order so not sure if just the Nvidia control panel option would have worked by itself or not.
