Summary
When the right thumb stick is moved in small increments, the camera stutters as it moves. It seems to be happening with Xbox and PC. I have a PC with an Xbox controller. I saw others with the same problem in Reddit reporting the problem on Xbox. I tried to find the new max touchpad setting, thinking maybe if I turned it off it would help, but I couldn’t find the setting. Oddly, my touchpad is the only thing that moves the camera smoothly (although my mouse is kinda beat up so I’m not sure). Steps to Reproduce
On PC, with an Xbox controller(but others reported different controllers with Xbox), go into any map and move the right thumb stick as little as possible. I noticed a heavier stutter when I move slightly diagonally upwards with a horizontal dominance.
Expected Result
The camera should move slowly, responsively and smooth.
Observed Result
As the camera moves, it stutters, and looks like it’s skipping frames. If you move the thumb stick more than a little, it functions without the stutter.
Platform(s)
PC, and possibly Xbox according to the Reddit post.
Additional Notes
It’s probably worth being priority… it’ll give you that motion sickness feeling if you stare at it too hard or try and play thru it.
