Im using Unreal Engine 5.6 and decided to move from Deffered Rendering to Forward Rendering, because it’s less blurry and etc.
But in results a got broken static lightning (i enabled it)
And locked anti aliasing settings.

You have to build lighting?
This appears to be normal behavior. Because forward shading can’t easily do temporal accumulation, effects like TSR or TAA aren’t available (but MSAAA is very good).
TAA and TSR (including upscaling) both work in forward, as does FXAA and most likely SMAA in 5.7. You can switch the antialiasing method by cvar. A few versions back they locked it to MSAA in the project settings window for no apparent reason but setting by cvar still works.
If i build light it will appear.
So static lightning techically working, but preview shadow not.
Oh really! I didn’t know that, thank you for telling me.
