Enable 'Use Two Sided Lighting' is greyed-out

Hi all,

I am using Quixel Bridge assets, specifically the stone lantern. While play testing the object is underlit, I think it is to do with the double sided lighting, which I’m unable to enable for some reason.

Note that this static mesh has been created in a blueprint actor so it can have a point light etc. When I drag and drop the asset only into the world I can enable this ‘Use Two Sided Lighting’ but even then it still fails to under-light the object correctly, leaving dramatic black/dark areas any ideas?

This has to do with ‘Cast Shadows’ on the DirectionalLight in the level, when I disabled it the objects are lit properly but no longer casting shadows, still trying to work out the issue.

Trying to resolve this issue.

It is related to the Point Lights I had scattered around the map, I deleted them all and started getting no error message. The BP lantern itself still appears black.

Project Settings > Rendering > Forward Shading (was on, turned it off, restarted, fixed)

Greetings @judgejames

I took a peek back as I remember seeing a thread on this same issue and I was able to find it. Take a peek here and see if this helps resolve the problem. Let me know your findings!
