Summary
The emote wheel is unreliable in UEFN experiences. Players will often select an emote, but nothing happens. The wheel closes without the emote playing, requiring multiple attempts before it finally works. It also doesnt show the render of the emote. Game breaking and critcal.

Launch any UEFN island.
Open the emote wheel.
Select various emotes repeatedly throughout a match.
Observe that some emotes fail to play despite being selected.
Expected Result
The selected emote should play immediately every time it is chosen.

Additional Notes
I suspect this may be related to the newer cosmetic streaming system. Since cosmetics are now streamed rather than always being available locally, there appears to be a delay or failure when assets haven’t finished loading. This seems to have become much more noticeable since cosmetic streaming was introduced.
This has a significant impact on gameplay, particularly in social experiences, fashion shows, roleplay maps, and other islands where emotes are a core part of the experience.
Suggestion:
It would be great if players had the option to fully download all cosmetic assets on every platform, rather than relying on streaming. Not everyone has fast or stable internet, and cosmetic streaming can negatively affect gameplay. An optional “Download All Cosmetics” setting would allow players with sufficient storage space to prioritize reliability and improve the overall experience.
