Emissive wireframe rendering problem

For this emissive wireframe material (made with a texture) the line gets sort of bigger, instead of smaller further away from the player. Is there a way to fix this or this is simply how emissive light in material behaves?

Depending on how strong your emmissive color is, your lines will look like this because there is an area glow effect.
