Emissive Material Lighting Bug

Can anyone tell me how to change this weird thing, where depending on the distance from my emissive material the lighting changes? As well as the strange wavey effect if I’m far away, as shown in the beginning.
It’s not bloom or exposure as I have them both locked or off. I’ve made my own emissive material as premade ones have the same problem, this is also an empty map with no weather lighting affecting it, so I’m just lost.

If you click the mesh, and tick

The fade problem goes. The flickering is better, but not totally gone. That’s just Lumen constantly sampling the area, not much you can do about that.

Thank you! Definitely fixed the light popping problem but that does suck that the wavey thing can’t be fixed. I’ll probably have to ditch a lot of my emissive materials and find some work around. Thank you again, as this has been driving me nuts for like a week and I changed every setting in game and in the material with nothing working, only to find out I didn’t change the mesh settings itself lol

At the moment, nothing you can do about the ‘wibbling’. You can tune Lumen to use a finer sample grid, and more regularly, and it might look great, but then your whole game will run like a dog with a wooden leg

Lol well that does sound like a risky trade off. I just loved the way I had it looking with that material, having a slight bloom effect coming off the ceiling lights, but I’ll probably just make small, shadowless lights illuminating the ceiling lights themselves to create the same effect.
