Emissive color + Avatar (UI) w/mask issue?

Hello, I’m having issues trying to figure out how to give an avatar emissive color. I created an emission and it works on a mesh but it doesn’t work as a material for UI. I was wondering if Emissions are restricted to 3D objects or can 2D UI elements also use them?

I would like to have a circle (Mask) with an avatar image inside with an emissive color around it. Oddly enough, I can’t find tutorials about this or even mentions about it on google :confused:

I actually have the same needs. I want to render a 3D model in my UI Menu, it’s working well. But I’m unable to see the emissive light from my 3D Model when it’s rendered through the Texture Render 2D in my UI.

Did you find a way to display emissive light in you UI ?
