Hello, I’ve been looking at the fluid/particle authoring packages Embergen and Fluid Ninja, and I can’t work out how a comparison would break down between these two plugins and Niagara. I also haven’t found any comparisons online.
I could probably phrase this question as, “Are Embergen and Fluid Ninja similar plugins, and what do they do that Niagara doesn’t?”
For context, I’ve used Niagara in the past for some basic real-time particle effects, and I can create pre-baked effects in Houdini. I’d like to forget about pre-baked particle effects if possible, so I’m looking at real-time possibilities.
