Elusive - Part 1 - Unreal Engine Shortfilm

A Solo Personal work Created in real-time using Unreal Engine 5 with NVIDIA RTX4090, animated with iClone 8 & Character Creator 4, assets and textures made with Autodesk Maya & Substance Painter. Color adjustments, improvements and assembly done in Nuke & DaVinci Resolve. The goal was to merge the entire environment with the character and effects in One rendering pass, easily adjustable in real-time.

This short film is an impassioned homage to the iconic Ghost in the Shell Movie and Anime. Within its narrative, a mechanical marvel possessing the extraordinary power of instantaneous teleportation embarks on a quest to uncover the elusive truth she desperately craves. What an intense and mysterious start to “Elusive”! I knew I didn’t imagine elements of Ghost in the Shell in your work, and I was happy to see it confirmed after reading the description of your post further. :grin:

I’m so intrigued to see how the rest of Elusive plays out; it’s already off to an incredible start! :star_struck:

This is an absolutely awesome trailer. The lighting and and assets used feel incredibly high quality and rather beautiful. Cyberpunk is one of those art styles that immediately catch the eye. :slight_smile: Brilliant work!

Very nice; the blocking looks excellent! I wonder what’s going on in this location. I sense hand-to-hand combat is front and center in this scene. :eyes:
