Editor suddenly gets rid of the grid(?)

I can’t seem to find any answer to this problem, but my Unreal Editor just decided to ‘delete’ the grid out of the blue? I checked it, I didn’t untack it or something, it just disappeared and it makes me slightly uncomfortable to work with it, not to mention it just isn’t really helpful to work without.
Anyone having an idea how to fix this?

  1. It doesn’t change when I make a New Level or entire New Project, the grid doesn’t show.
  2. It only disappeared on Perspective Mode, the other modes are totally fine.
  3. Resetting my Settings doesn’t fix it.
  4. Restarting the program or my MacBook doesn’t fix it either.

Here it shows the program just an hour ago.

Suddenly this??
I have no idea what happened.

I by the way use a MacBook Pro Mid 2012, OS X 10.9.5, 16 GB RAM, if this is needed. Additionally, I am pretty new to the program but not completely dumb with interfaces, I am just… super confused.

Edit: It helped to un- and reinstall the Engine, however this was pretty weird… I hope it doesn’t happen again.

Hi Mizanity,

Thanks for updating this post and letting us know it is fixed for now. If the grid continues to disappear randomly, update this post and we will look into the issue.
