Editor Not Conected

Summary

I launch session, enter play mode and press End Game. Then it says “Editor Not Connected”. I try to do a memory calculation however it doesn’t work(grey out).

Additional Notes

I had this error a month ago and deleted about 200 prop manipulators, beacons, buttons, cinematic sequence devices and it worked afterwards.

I re added 200 beacons, so that might be why but I’d rather figure out a solution to this to update my map one last time. Thank you.

I have the log files zipped up and ready to go however it’s 61 MB but Max is 29 MB for uploading in a reply. I can’t upload it

If anyone wants me to upload it anywhere let me know thanks. Really hoping to get this fixed, really would appreciate any assistance.

If you could upload them to a Google drive or another service. We do need them since we’re unable to reproduce this here. A video would also be very helpful!

Here are the zip files with video of the problem. Let me know if you find the log zip file and two videos and can access them.

I will note that this zip log and video is happening on my second project which is a template of my first project. However the problem is the same. If you prefer I grab the zip file from the orignal project I can try to do that but the problem is not in the first project anymore because I believed it stopped when i reduced the amount of beacon devices/buttons to 700(it was 900 before).

However in this second project only has 700 beacons/buttons so now I’m not sure what’s going on. Thank you for the assistance. Please let me know if there’s anything further needed of me.

Do you have experimental features disabled? If so, try enabling them and launching the session, then launching the memory calculation.

Hey I checked all these experimental access as shown in the image above however still cannot do a memory calculation after ending the game. Thank you

Also I had a lot of custom imported textures and tried the “Resize Texture Import Data” option on most of them. I was able to do a memory calculation just once but after that one time it never worked again. Not sure if this info is helpful but yeah.

The status of FORT-1087307 changed to ‘Needs Triage’. We’ve confirmed the issue and it’s waiting to be assigned to someone to fix it.
