I’ve been trying to figure out if there was a way to disable this behavior, but after some search, the only way I was able to circumvent this was to, instead of playing in the Selected Viewport, run the game on New Editor Window (PIE):
[Image Removed]Running it like that allowed me to avoid the issue of the Navmesh appearing while pressing P.
I agree with you, the behavior is confusing, so I’ve made a JIRA report to be added to the Unreal issue tracker website (https://issues.unrealengine.com).
Please note that Epic ultimately determines whether the issue will be made publicly accessible, and the process can take a few days; therefore, the tracking link may not be immediately accessible.
