I wanted to try the HexMap Generator Toolkit on FAB.
It works really well, and I decided to recreate it in C++ to practice using ISMs.
However, I keep running into a problem that happens systematically with ISMs.
When I select the actor containing the ISM in the scene, Unreal freezes for about 20 seconds, even when I generate a very small map.
The strange thing is that the HexMap Generator Toolkit doesn’t have this issue.
Yet I copied the same settings and used the exact same Static Mesh…
