Hello,
I have a problem with a scan with Reality Capture. We are using photogrammetry to show a quarry and some buildings need to be deleted because of poor quality in the scan. We deleted those in RC and filled the gaps but the texture needs reworking (see attached pic). What would be the best workflow to do this? Is there a way to paint a different shader on these areas? The texture itself is too mashed up to simply paint in photoshop and the whole area consist of different clusters so a lot of texture need rework.
Few options for you
First would be to use paid software like Substance Painter or free software like Quixel Mixer
This looks like it’s in Unreal Engine, and for the type of surface it is you could download some Megascans and place them roughly where you need them to be and adjust the material settings to get it to colour match the rest of the scene
Finally would be to remake the texture in RC - this would mean selecting the poor quality images/scans and disabling them for texturing
There’s probably other ways but that’s how I’d look at doing it

Thanks a lot! Those are good ways I can continue with. Thanks.
