Easy way to get the UE5 skeleton into Blender so I can attach it to new meshes?

This feels unnecessarily difficult to do. Is there either a free blender file (that contains nothing but the UE5 skeleton) or a very easy way to produce the UE5 skeleton in Blender?

Appreciate any answers. Thanks.

I am not sure what exactly you are trying to accomplish, but it sounds like it may already be enough to export a skeletal mesh that uses the skeleton from unreal to an fbx.

You can export it by right-clicking the assets you want in the content browser and clicking Asset Actions → Export…

Hope this helps!

Yes, this is one of those things it would be very easy for Unreal Engine to do - they just need to get the file, convert it to Blender for everyone, and host it on their website… but they don’t. Because they kinda don’t really care.
