Dynamically changing the SteamVR background from UE?

Hey guys! I have been working on using the VR Splash Screen (hack) to show a little loading billboard when switching levels…but I am wondering, how can I just dynamically change the steamvr background (blueprint or c++?) so it doesnt feel like a hack of an experience switching levels?

We’ve found even the VR Splash Screens do not work consistently as advertised (worldscale may impact them too) and just can’t rely on it.
