I have a dynamic car object that I want to have fully dynamic reflections on the car surface. I’m currently using a SceneCaptureComponentCube in the center of the car, placing in the center of the car and setting the car actor to hidden. This works really well, but the reflections still look off because the car’s shadow isn’t reflected (since it isn’t rendered by the cube).
Does anyone know how to get the shadows rendered without baking them (since my car is dynamic)? Is there a better route to go to get dynamic reflections than the SceneCaptureCube that will reflect the car’s shadow?
