Dynamic Light Issue in Split Screen?

Hey guys,

Tried to get some help on Answerhub (https://answers.unrealengine.com/questions/371465/split-screen-lighting-issue.html#comment-371465-form) but unfortunately haven’t got anywhere yet so hopefully you can help!

I have dynamic lighting throughout the level which all starts switched off then eventually turns on, when this happens Player 1 sees the lights activate but Player 2 stays in darkness.

However, if they go upstairs and can look down at the level below suddenly the lights on the floor below are visible, but not those on the floor where they currently are - if that makes sense!

In the pic below they are standing on the first floor and can see down to the ground floor, Player 2 can see those lights but not lights right next to him. If I move Player 2 downstairs then it is just pitch black again.

Any ideas at all? Seems a bit of an odd one.

Cheers

Tom

I think there is a problem regarding repliaction and the range that the light is sending data etc.

I can’t really help as I don’t know anything regarding online stuff, though what your answerhub and this post is lacking is blueprint code you are using.

Noone can help you if you don’t share your setup in detail.

Hey Achilleon,

What do you need from the blueprint? This is really simple, just some dynamic lights which currently toggle on/off when I press L and split-screen, not doing anything complicated with either of those things.

Can post a picture of the set-up but honestly don’t see how that will help at this point…
