Dynamic Invalidation Warning

Summary

When entering Modeling mode in Unreal Engine 5.8.2 I get this warning message. I have tried all of Google’s suggestions to fix the issue including adding “r.Shadow.Virtual.UseReceiverMaskDirectional 0” to my DefaultEngine.ini, unchecked Visible Ray Tracing in project settings, and deleted Saved, Intermediate and DerivedDataCache folders from my Project folder, but it’s still happening.

Hi! Did you manage to find a solution for this? I had the exact same issue, but in my case, it was popping up whenever I opened the Content Drawer. The best solution is honestly just to uncheck the Notify checkbox in Editor Diagnostics.

If you open Editor Diagnostics as a separate window and try opening different editor tools or panels, you’ll see that some of them trigger this warning and increase the Failures count. This is strictly an Editor Diagnostics tracker for the Unreal Editor UI itself, so it won’t affect your project or build in any way.
