Draw Material to Render Target does not work when deployed to Oculus Quest

I have created this setup for a university project. The player is supposed to draw on rocks and cliffs using the Oculus Quest, the setup works fine using a third person controller, it also works fine when streaming to the Quest using Riftcat2.0 but when deployed as an apk to the headset the drawing functionality does not work anymore. My question is if is a bug or if this has something to do with the limitations of the Oculus Quest?
