I tested HLODs in my project, but it didn’t cull out any of the objects I wanted it to. I removed the HLOD volumes and disabled HLODs from the game, and somehow the max draw distance feature is no longer working. Now I have massive polygons hidden in the fog that are still rendering! Is there any way to fix this?
Nevermind, I got the draw distance back again. I don’t think there’s a real performance improvement with using HLODs unless you have a number of different clustered objects placed in the scene, anyways.
