Dragon Incense Burner - Unreal Engine 5.1

Hi Everyone,

I’m just sharing renders of an Asset in Unreal Engine 5 using nanite and Lumen that I’ve finished recently, other than the Cauldron the rest of the assets is from Quixel Megascans and UE Marketplace. its not perfect but I’d love to keep learning something new every time I use UE for my projects.

Feedback, comments are all welcome. more renders are on my Artstation - Dragon Incense Burner UE5 Hope you like it!

Greetings @StephenHerman !

Agreed! I saw two awesome dragons flanking an incense burner and thought to myself, “How can I NOT comment on this?!” :dragon:

Firstly, I must compliment you on how intricately detailed this work of art is! Every dragon scale, every carved wisp of smoke, and every curve and angle is amazing in this asset. Great choice!

I really like the position of your lighting. It shines light and casts shadows in all the right places. Your cinematography displayed a wonderful and peaceful showcase of this beautiful design.

For this project, what did you learn that you had not known before?

Hi @Get_DOVAH_it Really glad that you enjoy this piece

Thank you for the compliment! :raised_hands: glad you like the intricate detail I’ve put into the sculpted parts! at one point I was really doubting myself that maybe I’m putting too much time into the detail that might end up not too noticeable.

For this project, in Unreal Engine especially one of the thing that I’ve learned is how to use the Movie Render Queue since I’ve never really got the chance to use it before and I get to really to play around with the lighting using Lumen which is really fun, figuring it out how I want to present and render this piece.
