I am a bit jealous of the playtesters who got to try out your fantastic map. I am sure they had a lot of fun playing it.
What date did you have in mind for releasing the map?

No worries, soon you will be able to play it too! Im expecting to release it on january 9, but if I dont finish the video that will explain/add the lore of what happened/happening then it will be on january 20, the map is officially finished, just making some memory optimizations

it will be short, as it wil just introduce a new character of the story, and show what it will be doing to the planet. (I might add gameplay to it, since it will be used for the publishing part)
Im also eager to see how it will do!

Btw the map has over 20k objects and all cells (im using streaming) nearing the 100k memory limit XD there is a lot of things going on in the map, I tested it on my phone and it runs even better than the Part 1 map, that was quite an acomplishment (comparing the quantity of assets in part 1 which are 6k)
it is now a pretty decent one!
I upgraded its gpu to a 4080 aswell its cpu and power supply, and that was not so long ago, I call it a war machine XD since it has been upgraded a lot of times since 2017, little by little as I was needing more power for the projects

I LOVE hearing about other people’s builds! I could tell you were working with something fierce as your frames didn’t budge in the clip, and everything looked like it was on ultra settings. 
I recently upgraded to a 4070 and am also looking to upgrade my CPU to something fierce!

yes! it now handles the projects like cutting through butter, i can make textures, sounds, 3d everything at the same time and thats a relief (i dont like to close the programs because of configs that I want to keep open for quick iterations)
uhhhh nicee, what CPU brand are you going for, amd or intel?

Definitely AMD; they have a string of new processors releasing at the end of this month! I’m looking to get the 5700X3D they announced at C.E.S. earlier in the event.

today january 18th the map is ready to be published, in a few hours, I will upload the first version of the map to check that everything is correct and if it is, then I will let the map out (im not sure if keeping the map unlisted is bad or good, so I will let the algorithm handle it as soon as it can, I need the code for the gameplay trailer that i will upload here and other socials)

My apologies if this sounds foolish, but what is partial fps mode? What will that mode do?

ah no worries, by that i mean that its an incomplete First Person mode, not all actions are suported in the first person mode
also added a leaderboard for solo speed runners
