I think the reason the download speed is 800 kB/s is because it is maxing out on the WRITE speed. Why is the downloader getting reported 280 MB/s write speeds to my M.2 drive ?
Looking at Task Manager my drive is only doing 5 MB/s writes.
Go into settings in the epic launcher and check if throttle downloads is checked

Sometimes the launcher stalls on downloads while it’s installing a portion of a package, but it shouldn’t cause that large of a discrepency. If your downloads remain low and only write speed is high, there may be a different underlying issue. I have a thread that I’ve seen help a couple of people, while I don’t believe it will correct your issue it may be worth a try. Back up your original files before editing the INI if you do end up trying this!
