Is this possible? I’d love to move down to Oculus 0.5 drivers, as 0.6 don’t support Optimus switchable graphics on laptops or mac/linux, while anything compiled under older versions does. I’d like to be able to continue developing in the latest version of UE, but not be forced to use the current Oculus drivers as they greatly lower the amount of people who can play what I’m working on. Even my demo machine is a laptop with Optimus and an 860M Nvidia, so it had no problem playing any demos before now, upgrading just gets the headset to sit on a black screen.
Same thing here, Nvidia 960M, and optimus, seems to be giving the black screen on the oculus with 4.8, 4.7 runs well… Any fix for this so far?
Looks like they just officially dropped support for Optimus systems for these drivers, which is rather annoying, a laptop was the best way to have a portable demo system without needing to lug a box and a monitor along. Guess I need to get a non-Optimus laptop.
I have a desktop and it doesn’t work for me either. GTX 760
4.8 should switch automatically to 0.5 on Macs, there are two versions of the library in the engine code.
