When you are testing in live edit, you can press double jump and fly, but since its testing then player states are mixed up and you end up in a weird state where you jitter endlessly.

Steps to Reproduce
Place down a water volume
Make it be Styx River
Test
Jump into the river and while diving up press jump multiple times
Expected Result
Player lunges forward, then dives back to the water
Observed Result
Player lunges forward then goes into a weird jittering state. If you exit the water volume you are stuck jittering
This is not a bug and completely normal for debugging purposes, you need to disable phase debugging mode for it to not phase during gameplay when flying…
Many people already reported and got confused on the past by not understanding, check this one for reference that is about the same misconception and already closed by epic:
During edit mode, open the phone options, disable phasing when flying, then start your game… You can also bind a shortcut keybind to enable/disable it quickier if you want.
Also worth mentioning it is only a debugging feature during edit mode, it does not affect private codes, playtests or published islands behavior.
Only happened a few times to me so i don’t unfortunately but i know exactly what they mean its like it starts with phase but then your like walking in phase mode and its jittery as hell.
