Steps to Reproduce
In the island settings, set a reward for eliminating another player.
In a running game, inflict minor damage on the “killer” and then have the killer eliminate another player.
Expected Result
It is expected that the killer will receive a reward in the form of gold and health replenishment.
Observed Result
In fact, nothing happens. The killer does not receive either gold or additional health.
These settings were unreliable when UEFN first started, the Elimination Manager settings wouldn’t work either, have been using an item granter with an elimination manager ever since.
This is understandable. You can always write a script in Verse and recreate such logic. But what to do with a bunch of games that have been made and published - it is very inconvenient to rework the logic everywhere.
